One Church, One Book - Advent 2022
Group Conversations on The Day You Begin
"There will be times when the world feels like a place that you're standing all the way outside of ... until the day you begin to share your stories." This Advent, all are welcome to bring "your own brave self" to conversations around First Church's One Church, One Book selection, The Day You Begin, a picture book for all ages by Jacqueline Woodson, National Book Award-Winning author of Brown Girl Dreaming.
Join us as we journey toward the story of Christmas by reflecting on the stories of who we are to each other. We offer a variety of times and formats for you to connect with a group during Advent.
Group options:
- Sundays at 4pm online, Nov. 27, Dec. 4 & 11 - Led by Pastor Grace and Jim Hagedorn. Reflection and shared stories on finding our voices.
