The Night Ministry provides housing, health care, outreach, spiritual care, and social services to adults and youth who struggle with homelessness, poverty and loneliness.  A team from First Church volunteered with this nonprofit ministry early in the summer and First Church has committed to also serving these dates:  March 9, April 13, and May 11.


We are now recruiting volunteers for WEDNESDAY, April 13 and May 11 to support this ministry by preparing and/or delivering and serving 100 sack suppers to the Health Outreach Bus Humboldt Park (California & Division in Chicago).

I would like to serve as a:

Four to five persons will make and pack brown bag suppers in the church kitchen. Masks are required and gloves will be provided.

Three to four persons will meet at the church.
6:45 - 7:45 pm: Load cars and drive to Humboldt Park neighborhood.
8:00 - 8:30 pm: Serve meals.
